March 2026 - We have a poster at Cosyne 2026! “Geometric scaling of dendrites predicts synaptic allocation and reveals metabolic constraints across cortical neuron types”. Unfortunately I won’t be there in person, but my co-author Casey will be presenting.
January 2026 - New SEA-AD preprint out, led by Omar Kana: “The Caudate Nucleus Exhibits Distinct Pathology and Cell Type-Specific Responses Across Alzheimer’s Disease.” B-BIND extended to model subcortical disease progression. bioRxiv
September 2025 - Our work was selected at NeurIPS 2025: “Bounds on the computational complexity of neurons due to dendritic morphology.” bioRxiv
August 2025 - I received the Weill Neurohub Fellowship to support my research on developing advanced Bayesian Inference methods for brain-wide neuropathology progression in Alzheimer’s disease. The fellowship will provide funding for 2 years, starting in 2026. I’m excited to use this support to further develop and apply B-BIND across the brain, and to continue pushing the boundaries of what we can learn about neurodegenerative disease progression from human data.
